Service Technician Job Summary Pinnacle Central Company keeps our rental and sales customers running by servicing the diesel

• and electric-powered equipment they depend on — air compressors, generators, light towers, forklifts, and related gear used in the abrasive blasting and painting industry.

We are hiring an Equipment Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair that fleet in our shop and in the field. Prior air-compressor experience is NOT required. If you can troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and electrical systems

• on trucks, farm and construction equipment, generators, marine engines, or similar
• you have the core skills this job is built on.

We will train you on the compressor and blasting-equipment specifics. Strong diesel or electrical fundamentals are needed for this role. What You'll Work On A mixed fleet of diesel and electrically powered equipment, including: Air compressors (diesel and electric) Generators and light towers Forklifts and material-handling equipment Other diesel, electric, pneumatically operated equipment used in abrasive blasting and painting Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and electrical/pneumatic systems across the fleet. Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, then develop and carry out effective repairs. Conduct inspections and testing to ensure equipment meets safety standards and runs efficiently. Respond to field service calls to service and repair equipment at customer job sites as needed. Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Keep all shop tools and equipment in safe, good working condition. Required Qualifications Hands-on repair experience with diesel engines OR electrical/mechanical systems

• from any equipment background (truck/fleet, agricultural, construction, generators, marine, industrial, automotive, etc.). Solid troubleshooting skills
• able to read the symptom, isolate the cause, and fix it. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Willingness to work in shop and outdoor/field settings, and to lift heavy equipment and tools. Preferred (Not Required
• We Will Train) Experience with air compressors, pneumatic systems, generators, or light towers.

Electrical experience, especially 460V 3-phase power. Hydraulic system experience. Technical degree or certification in diesel or electrical technology. Welding or fabrication skills. Experience in the abrasive blasting, painting, or equipment rental industry.

This position will be on a rotation for on-call work every third week (no call work for two weeks and then on-call for one week).
