We are currently seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of diesel engines, heavy equipment, and heavy-duty trucks. This is a field-based role where you'll work independently, troubleshoot equipment on jobsites, and deliver fast, dependable service. Candidates should have prior experience diagnosing and repairing heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and other off-road machinery.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on diesel engines, heavy equipment, and heavy-duty vehicles Troubleshoot and repair engine, transmission, electrical, hydraulic, and brake systems Diagnose and repair construction equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, rollers, and other heavy equipment Complete service documentation, including repair logs and work orders Operate a fully equipped service truck and travel to job sites as needed Maintain high safety and quality standards in all work performed Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and equipment operators

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, or combination technician (mobile or in-shop) Proven experience troubleshooting and repairing heavy construction equipment, including excavators, dozers, and loaders Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, DPF/DEF systems, after-treatment systems, and electronic diagnostics Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams Must have own tools (specialty tools provided as needed) Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently ASE Certifications, OEM training, or heavy equipment manufacturer certifications preferred We are a drug free workplace and equal opportunity employer
