Job Overview •Paid working interview•We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment and vehicles in the field. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery, including construction equipment, farm machinery, industrial vehicles, and heavy trucks. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering top-notch service to keep customers operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems for heavy equipment and vehicles. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire services, alignment checks, and system inspections to prevent breakdowns. Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding and hand tools to ensure proper fit and function. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during maintenance procedures. Read schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems accurately. Maintain detailed service records for all repairs and maintenance activities for compliance and future reference. Assist with vehicle assembly or equipment repair projects requiring heavy lifting or specialized mechanical skills while adhering to safety protocols. Skills Dealership experience or extensive background in heavy equipment mechanics is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair, automotive electrical systems, HVAC systems, and vehicle systems diagnostics. Proficiency with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; familiarity with power tools is essential. Experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and heavy trucks. Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Mechanical knowledge of transmissions, suspension systems, shocks & struts, air brakes, hydraulics, and alignment procedures. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing manual tasks in various outdoor environments.
