Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Diesel Mechanic and Skid Steer Service Technician , where your expertise will keep heavy machinery running smoothly and efficiently. We are seeking an experienced mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of skid steers, front end loaders, dump trucks, garbage trucks, pick up trucks, trailers, and other equipment . In this vital role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of diesel engines, heavy equipment, and other machinery, ensuring optimal performance across various industrial applications. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will directly impact our operations' success, providing reliable service to our clients and supporting the seamless operation of their equipment. Duties Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Perform preventative maintenance & inspections Repair engines, brakes, steering suspension, and hydraulic systems Troubleshoot DEF & regen systems (if applicable) Weld and fabricate (preferred but not required) Maintain service records Ensure equipment is job-site ready Work Environment This is a hands-on mechanic position performed primarily in a non-air-conditioned service bay. Because some of our larger dump trucks and garbage trucks do not fit fully inside the shop, mechanics must also be willing and able to perform repairs and maintenance outdoors in varying weather conditions. Applicants should be comfortable working in heat and other typical outdoor conditions while following all required safety procedures. Qualifications Proven 3-5 years minimum experience or extensive mechanic experience working with heavy equipment and automotive repair. Experience working on Skid Steers/ Heavy equipment Own basic tools Valid driver's license Ability to work independently Strong diagnostic skills Experience with CAT/ Bobcat, Komatsu Ability to work Mon - Sat What We Offer $20-$28 per hour, based on experience Overtime available (average 40-60 hours per week) Stable, long-term employment Medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days 1 week paid vacation per year

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
