palm city, florida Posted 4/22/2026 Closes 6/30/2026 Job details Summary Spherion $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Permanent 6:00 AM - 3:00 AM Industry installation, maintenance & repair (Installation, Maintenance, and Repair Occupations) Reference number S_174924 We are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Palm City terminal to ensure our equipment remains in peak operating condition. The Diesel Mechanic will perform standard maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of semi-trucks and trailers. This role requires a technician who is self-motivated, safety-conscious, and possesses a solid foundation in diesel engine systems.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) and federal inspections on tractors and trailers. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on diesel engines, transmissions, and brake systems. Troubleshoot and repair trailer components, including air lines, lighting, and structural elements. Conduct tire inspections and fueling as part of the weekly fleet readiness protocol. Maintain accurate digital or paper service records for all work performed.

Minimum of 2 years of professional Diesel Mechanic experience is required.

Preferred:

Trailer repair experience is a significant plus.
