In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy machinery and industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This is a field position, working out of a service truck. Your expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly, supporting various sectors such as construction, agriculture, and transportation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, utilize your mechanical skills, and contribute to a high-performance team dedicated to excellence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems across diverse heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, and system inspections to minimize downtime. Utilize OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues effectively. Fabricate parts or components using welding, soldering, and fabrication tools when necessary to restore or enhance equipment functionality. Repair and service power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment used in heavy machinery assembly and maintenance. Operate heavy equipment safely during testing or troubleshooting procedures while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational requirements. Skills Proven experience with heavy equipment maintenance and repair. Must have a valid drivers license, and be at minimum 23 years or age. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, suspension systems, HVAC systems, and electrical components. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and OEM specifications for accurate diagnostics. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques including welding and soldering. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other industrial equipment safely and efficiently. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and power tools for precise repairs.
