Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking an Experienced Bus Diesel Mechanic to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems. The Mechanic is responsible for executing vehicle work orders for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems for both diesel motorcoaches (Temsa, Vanhool, Cummins, etc), gas engine minibuses, shuttle buses, vans, etc in a timely and efficient manner. This individual must be a team player with a proactive approach to safety, efficiency, accountability, and high-quality work delivery, thereby preventing or minimizing comeback jobs.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle problems and performs repairs on motorcoaches, shuttle buses, minibuses, etc Perform routine vehicle maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components Prepare vehicle maintenance reports and keep accurate records of all maintenance repairs performed Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to fleet inventory
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent 2+ years of hands-on experience in motorcoach repair and maintenance. (Transportation industry preferred). Expert in bus diagnostics. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. CDL Vehicle maintenance experience required; diesel maintenance preferred Knowledge of shop equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Strong electrical skills Deadline and detail-oriented A strong focus on "no comeback jobs" Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team If you have a passion for buses/diesel engines and enjoy working with your hands, this would be a great opportunity!
