About ELW Motorcoach ELW Motorcoach is a family-owned luxury motorcoach company based in Fayetteville, GA, with 10+ years serving clients across the Southeast and a Satisfactory FMCSA safety rating. We keep a well-maintained fleet on the road and take pride in safe, reliable, premium service. We're looking for a skilled diesel mechanic to help us keep it that way. Job Overview We're seeking a skilled, reliable mechanic experienced with both diesel and gasoline engines to maintain and repair our motorcoach and support-vehicle fleet (including Ford E-450 chassis). The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who works well independently, diagnoses problems efficiently, and takes pride in quality workmanship and on-time turnaround. Welding experience is a strong plus. What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline engines and related systems Perform preventative maintenance and routine DOT inspections Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, cooling, and HVAC issues Repair or replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, HVAC, and fuel systems Read and interpret diagnostic reports, service manuals, and schematics Maintain accurate service records and job documentation Ensure all work meets DOT safety and quality standards Communicate clearly with management on repairs, parts, and timelines What You Bring Proven experience as a diesel and gasoline mechanic (bus/motorcoach or heavy-duty fleet experience a plus) Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Welding experience preferred Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively Dependability and punctuality — this is a must Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform the physical duties of the role ASE certification required Valid driver's license (CDL a plus)
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
