Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of Equipment, including construction machinery, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and vehicle fleets. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably, supporting our operational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity for mechanics with a passion for heavy equipment and a commitment to excellence in service. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics on diesel engines using advanced electrical and automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, suspensions, hydraulics, and electrical systems across various heavy equipment types. Fabricate and modify parts or components as needed using welding, hand tools, power tools, and schematics to ensure optimal performance. Service and repair construction machinery such as trucks, excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other heavy equipment to meet OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications. Troubleshoot equipment problems efficiently by interpreting schematics and technical manuals; perform alignments and suspension adjustments for optimal operation. Perform tire services including replacement and balancing; conduct brake repairs and HVAC system maintenance on heavy machinery. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports; ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations. Qualifications Proven experience working as a Diesel Mechanic in a dealership or industrial setting with strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance. Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, electrical diagnostics, hydraulic systems, and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with construction machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and farm machinery. Ability to perform diesel engine diagnostics and repairs with precision; skilled in vehicle maintenance including transmissions and air brake systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and heavy lifting techniques required for equipment repair. Knowledge of OEM standards along with experience servicing construction equipment and industrial machinery. Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with customer service orientation; capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
