Job Description

GroGreen Solutions was started in 2008 with the goal to manufacture and offer a full line of erosion related materials with unmatched service while building long-lasting relationships with our customers. Since its founding, GroGreen Solutions has expanded its dealer network from Georgia, to the entire southeast as well as the west coast and Canada. GroGreen Solutions has expanded its manufacturing capabilities from a few silt fence machines to nearly 40 erosion control production machines. GroGreen has recently added manufacturing and warehousing facilities in Atlanta, Georgia and Osyka, Mississippi. We believe in keeping stock inventory for everything we sell. Our line of products compliment our customers and the industry. Job Summary Ensures the company's facility needs are met by providing services and maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operations of all equipment utilized for maintenance activities, determining the actual needs for material and equipment, and maintaining and improving current facilities cost effectively. Responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of power mechanical equipment and company vehicles. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Prepares accurate records on maintenance, repairs and fuel levels of equipment. Maintains all decals, safety warnings and company ID stickers. Completes work orders for internal and external repairs. Repairs power and mechanical equipment. Maintains company vehicles. Checks and refuels equipment. Under takes complex repair and maintenance projects. Reports safety violations to supervisor. Preferably, YOU have At least one year of Mechanic Experience - Diesel engine maintenance - electrical background. Experience repairing heavy and industrial equipment such forklifts, 48ft-53ft tractor trailers. Diagnostic procedures and effective repair methods Proper use of testing equipment and specialized tools Trailer repair experience, ABS experience, air brakes including changing brakes and drums. Must be familiar with D.O.T. regulations (49CFR) Forklift repair experience is a plus. Must be able to pass written test for D.O.T certification as an inspector.
