Job Description

Bulk Environmental & Industrial is currently looking for an experienced road tractor-trailer and equipment Diesel Mechanic based out of Lawrenceville, GA. We are a transportation company hauling waste, debris, and recyclables to landfills for our customers. Servicing Atlanta metro area. Our fleet consists of road tractors, aluminum 48' and 53' trailers, and off-road wheel loaders. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated and ready to listen and learn! Essential Duties of Diesel Mechanic/Trailer Technician include the following, other duties may be assigned: Driving Company Service Truck ( clean MVR ) Inspect tractors and trailers daily for issues that are present.
Perform maintenance including:
Oil changes, belts, A/C repair, brakes, wheel seals, equalizers, wiring, as well as much more. Preventatively maintaining equipment with lubrication as well as basic repairs before they become major repairs. Diagnosing tractor check engine light as well as trailer ABS light with computer diagnostic software. Oil changing and inspecting equipment properly is the highest priority. Reporting major issues to supervisor immediately.
Basic Qualifications of Diesel Mechanic/Trailer Technician:
Clean MVR 18 years of age Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with co-workers and management Ability to read and write English Demonstrates a commitment of high-quality service to management and drivers alike Represents Attaway Hauling and yourself in a professional manner High School Diploma/GED is a plus Must provide own tools for the job Physical Requirements of Diesel Mechanic/Trailer Technician Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to frequently lift over 75 pounds Requires motion entailing bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists.
