Do you have experience working on trucks? Apply now! Gulf Coast Intermodal is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Maintenance Department. GCI has built an impressive trucking resource that includes 40 trucks serving 48 states to and from all countries in the world. We provide trucking services (intermodal containers, vans, flatbeds, specialized hauling), warehouse services, container yard, container sales, and container leasing. This position would be carrying out the responsibilities of the Maintenance Department and ensuring the company accuracy in its day-to-day operations.
RESPONSIBITIES
  • Diesel truck, trailer, and container repair
  • General maintenance duties
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years practical mechanic experience
  • Possess basic mechanic tools
  • Prior knowledge of Logistics/Transportation Industry
  • Experience with Brakes
  • Experience with AC
  • Experience with DOT Inspections
  • Proficient with computer programs, including TMT, Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook
  • ASE Automotive Excellence, a plus
  • Class A CDL, a plus
