Diesel Fleet Technician DTS Transportation Inc. - Davenport, IA 52802 We're looking for a motivated and skilled Diesel Fleet Technician to join our team Full-Time!
Job Summary:
In this vital role, the Diesel Fleet Technician's expertise will keep our operations running smoothly, safely, and efficiently by conducting inspections, general mechanical repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, tire repairs/replacement, general parts maintenance, oil changes of a diverse fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and general business equipment. The above-listed duties do not include all expectations in this vital role.MINIMUM Qualifications:
EMPLOYMENT IS CONDITIONAL ON PASSING A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG SCREEN & PHYSICAL
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- Must have one (1) year job related diesel mechanic experience
- Must be in good physical condition with the ability to, but not limited to, sit, stand, walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, squat for an extended period of time, as well as twist, climb, lift, hold, and move objects weighing a minimum of eighty (80) pounds
- Good communication skills, basic computer skills
- Able to multi-task and flexibility is a must
- Ability to work individually and as a team
- CDL A (preferred)
Work Schedule:
- Hours and Days may vary based on needs.
- Ability to work a 40-hour week
- Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Ability to work Saturdays and overtime, as needed and assigned required
