Are you a skilled Diesel Technician looking for a new opportunity? Look no further - Brown NationaLease is now hiring for a Second Shift Diesel Technician to join our team in Davenport, IA! Now Hiring - Second Shift Diesel Technician Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and related systems on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and inspections. Inspect, test, and repair brake systems, suspension components, steering systems, and driveline components. Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems. Utilize diagnostic software and equipment to identify mechanical and electronic issues. Complete work orders accurately and document repairs, parts used, and labor performed. Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet company and regulatory standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Respond to road calls or emergency breakdowns as needed. Communicate repair recommendations and equipment status with supervisors and fleet personnel. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Assist with maintaining shop tools, equipment, and parts inventory. Qualifications Experience as a diesel technician, mechanic, or heavy equipment technician preferred. Knowledge of diesel engines, emissions systems, electrical diagnostics, and preventative maintenance practices. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and repair procedures. Experience using computerized diagnostic equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred or willingness to obtain. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and working in various positions. Ability to work in a shop environment and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Comfortable working around heavy machinery, tools, and moving vehicles. #hc247885
