Diesel Mechanic Hiring Now!
Location:
Waterloo, IA Pay:
$20-30/hr depending on experience
Shift:
Mon-Fri 8am-5:30pm Advance Services is seeking hardworking and dependable Diesel Mechanics to join a growing team! The ideal candidate will have experience working on trucks and trailers, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced repair shop environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks and trailers Complete DOT inspections on trucks and trailers Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Perform preventative maintenance and routine service work Operate welding and torch equipment as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Work collaboratively with team members to complete repairs in a timely manner Accurately document repairs and inspections completed
Qualifications:
Previous diesel mechanic or heavy equipment repair experience preferred Knowledge of truck and trailer systems and components Ability to complete DOT inspections Welding and torch experience preferred Must have own tools CDL license is a plus, but not required Apply NOW!
