J&W Agri-Corp is looking for an experienced Class 8 diesel mechanic to join our in-house maintenance team in Hazelton. This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who already understands heavy trucks, can diagnose problems, and can complete repairs without needing constant supervision. We maintain our own fleet of Class 8 trucks and Trinity commodity trailers. You will work on company-owned equipment, not customer vehicles, and your job will be to keep our fleet safe, reliable, and on the road. What You'll Be Working On Preventative maintenance and inspections Air brake systems Tires, wheel seals, hubs, and bearings Suspension and steering components Engines, transmissions, and differentials 12-volt electrical systems Truck and trailer diagnostics Trinity commodity trailers General Class 8 truck and trailer repairs We are looking for a mechanic who can identify the problem, make the repair, and take pride in doing it correctly the first time. What We're Looking For Previous diesel, heavy-truck, agricultural, or fleet mechanic experience Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently Dependable attendance and reliable work history Your own basic set of tools Ability to work 40 hours per week and every other weekend Residence within 50 miles of Hazelton, Idaho A CDL is a plus and may qualify you for additional pay.
Schedule Available schedules may include:
Day shift: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM possible when in effect Swing shift: 12:00 PM-9:00 PM Possible when in effect Every other weekend Occasional on-call work Additional incentive pay is offered for weekend and on-call shifts.
