If you are a motivated professional who takes pride in optimizing diesel engine performance, we invite you to contribute your technical expertise to our collaborative and supportive workplace. Core Duties Execute standard maintenance and repair tasks on various diesel engine systems. Utilize sophisticated diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical failures. Help maintain a safe working environment by conducting thorough inspections and adhering to regulatory standards. Keep precise documentation regarding all service and maintenance activities. Work alongside colleagues to refine operational workflows and boost service efficiency. Keep pace with emerging industry developments and modern diesel technology. Ensure client satisfaction by clearly explaining repair needs and professional recommendations. Manage the procurement of necessary shop components. Assist the Shop Service Manager with various leadership and administrative responsibilities. Identify and fix electrical or mechanical faults in tractors and trailers through standard testing and computer-based diagnostics. Support fleet reliability by performing routine preventive maintenance on all trucks and trailers. Ensure regulatory compliance by conducting DOT inspections according to FMCSA mandates. Required Qualifications Completion of high school or a GED, with a preference for those holding diesel mechanic certifications. Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. Demonstrated background working as a Diesel Technician or in a comparable capacity. Comprehensive understanding of how diesel engine components and systems function. Skilled in the operation of modern diagnostic tools and hardware. Capable of performing tasks autonomously while also contributing to team success. Strong analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail. Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving history.
