Clean Harbors is seeking a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic team, providing essential maintenance and repair services for our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This position ensures the functionality and safety of our fleet, supporting our mission to deliver environmentally focused services across North America. As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence and sustainability, constantly working in different settings and responding to service needs with professionalism and technical expertise. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks. Diagnose mechanical issues and provide timely solutions. Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Document repair processes and maintain records for maintenance schedules. Manage inventory of parts and supplies, reordering as necessary to maintain stock levels. Provide on-site services at various locations, ready to travel as part of a responsive mobile unit. Collaborate with the fleet management team to optimize maintenance procedures and reduce vehicle downtime. Required Skills Strong expertise in diesel engine repair and maintenance. Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools for vehicle repair. Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and documentation skills.
