We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic and Electrician to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty diesel equipment and machinery. Your expertise will ensure that all vehicles and construction equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to keep operations running smoothly. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air brake systems using OEM schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on construction machinery, farm equipment, heavy trucks, and industrial equipment to maximize uptime. Troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently using advanced electrical diagnostics tools and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Fabricate parts or components as needed using welding, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to ensure proper fitment and function. Service and repair various heavy equipment including excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, and other construction machinery while adhering to safety standards. Perform alignment procedures and suspension repairs to optimize vehicle performance and safety standards. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document repairs accurately for compliance and future reference. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic and Electrician with dealership or heavy equipment service background preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC systems, and schematics interpretation. Hands-on experience with construction equipment servicing such as excavators, cranes, loaders, forklifts, and farm machinery. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics along with electrical diagnostics expertise for complex troubleshooting. Ability to perform welding (including soldering), heavy lifting safely with appropriate tools or equipment. Familiarity with OEM parts replacement procedures and the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with customer service orientation to ensure timely repairs and client satisfaction. Valid certifications in diesel engine repair or heavy equipment mechanics are highly desirable; relevant certifications in electrical systems or HVAC are a plus.
