Full Job Description Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, such as faulty fuel systems or malfunctioning electrical components
  • Conduct inspections of diesel vehicles to identify any potential problems or areas of concern
  • Use power tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble diesel engines
  • Perform welding and soldering tasks as needed for repairs
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs have been completed
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role is required
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engine mechanics and vehicle maintenance procedures
  • Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Familiarity with hydraulics and air brake systems
