A growing Midwest transportationpany is hiring a Diesel Mechanic in Sauk Village, IL to maintain and repair a fleet of 150+ semi-trucks.

Ideal candidates have strong PM and troubleshooting experience. Apply now to join a stable in-house fleet operation.

Pay:

Up to $45/hour (based on experience)

Scle:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Overtime available

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform preventive maintenance services and routine inspections on a fleet of 150+ semi-trucks.

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues to keep equipment safe, reliable, and road-ready.

Maintain and repair a multi-make fleet including Volvo, Freightliner, International, and Mack trucks.

Identify maintenance issues during inspections andplete repairs efficiently to support fleet uptime.

Required:

Experience performing preventive maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty diesel trucks.

Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on semi-trucks.

Hands-on troubleshooting experience in a diesel shop or fleet maintenance environment.

Experience working on a multi-make fleet, including Volvo, Freightliner, International, and Mack trucks.

Ability to identify maintenance issues during inspections andplete repairs that support fleet uptime and safe operation.

Preferred:

Experience maintaining Class 8 trucks in an in-house fleet environment.

Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety-focused equipment upkeep.
