This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of equipment As a key player in our maintenance team, you will utilize your mechanical expertise to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. Your hands-on skills will keep our fleet and machinery in top condition, supporting our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, and air brake systems using OEM specifications and schematics. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignments, and fluid checks to maximize equipment lifespan. Operate heavy equipment safely during repairs or testing procedures to verify proper function after service or repair work. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and OEM guidelines to troubleshoot complex mechanical or electrical issues effectively. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status clearly and ensuring work is completed efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic Service Technician experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, electrical components, and vehicle maintenance. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other fabrication tools for repairs and assembly. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for diagnostics and repairs. Knowledge of OEM standards for automotive diagnostics and vehicle repair procedures. Capable of heavy lifting safely while performing maintenance tasks; familiarity with tire service and alignment procedures is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety compliance; excellent communication skills for customer interactions. Diesel engine repair, air brake systems, hydraulic systems or related fields are highly desirable.
