Job Description

Martin Transportation Systems has an opening for a WorkingShop Foremanat our Springfield, ILterminal. This position would be overseeing a 3 shift operation withstandard day hours.
REQUIRMENTS
: Knowledge and experience with the following engine systems: Cummins Detroit Knowledge of different tires & cost of maintaining tires on tractors and trailers Cost of maintaining tractors and trailers Maintain and preserve proper inventory management Familiar with outlook Basic knowledge of how to use excel 3+ Years diesel mechanic experience ASE certified
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Strong verbal and written communication skills Professionalism-in both employee management and customer service Transportation or automotive management experience a plus. Knowledge of compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations a plus. Demonstrated track record of achievement and success Competitive and driven to succeed High initiative and high energy and high expectations Independent thinking and problem-solving skills Self Motivated
