Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 plus years experience in maintaining and repairing various types of diesel trucks, machinery and equipment. Duties Dismantles and reassembles/rebuilds diesel engines and components Fabricates parts and equipment as required Small tool and equipment repair when needed Vehicle oil changes and service Diagnoses complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems in fleet vehicles Performs check-ins and safety inspections and assists equipment mechanic with general shop and equipment maintenance as needed Conducts preventive maintenance to avoid unnecessary repairs and down time Maintain safe work environment and perform duties in accordance with safety standards.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Organization and attention to detail are critical for specific tasks as well as for general operations functionality. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Class A CDL with up-to-date DOT physical is a plus.
