First and foremost, everything is negotiable. We have been trying to fill this position for some time and we are flexible. Company Description Imperial Travel is a full-service motorcoach operator located in Lafayette Indiana. We specialize in both charters and house made tours all over the continental US and internationally. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Lafayette, IN for a Diesel Technician. The Diesel Technician will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs on buses, scheduled maintenance, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and roadworthy. Additionally, the Diesel Technician will work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a safe environment for both customers and employees. There is an on-call aspect to this Job. Qualifications Strong mechanical and technical skills Experience with diesel engines and related systems Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or diesel mechanic certification preferred Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical individuals Experience with various repair software and tools Clean driving record. 401K, vacation, healthcare and bonus for CDL with passenger endorsement. Trade School or years of experience - a plus for potential candidates.
