Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with experience working on various types of industrial equipment and farm machinery. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, contributing to our commitment to high-quality service. Willing to train the right individuals!!! Duties
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain and service air brake systems, shocks, struts, and other critical components.
  • Assemble and fabricate parts as needed for repairs or upgrades.
  • Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and related systems.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently.
  • Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop or field. Qualifications
  • Proven experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment, farm machinery, and related systems.
  • Strong understanding of air brake systems, shocks, struts, and suspension components.
  • Ability to diagnose mechanical issues effectively and implement solutions.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications are a plus.
