Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various heavy equipment and vehicles. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure that all equipment is operating efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. Perform equipment repair, including electrical systems and heavy equipment operation. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal performance of machinery. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for assembly and disassembly tasks. Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Technician or similar role. Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and heavy equipment operation. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and fabrication techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. A valid driver's license is required.
