Shop Service Technician in our Louisville, KY dealership We are growing fast and need a skilled Shop Diesel Technician who loves working on big iron. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 - 3 YEARS OF CONSTRUCTION AND FORESTRY DIESEL EXPERIENCE.
- Ability to make major and minor repairs on construction and forestry equipment, including but not limited to, diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, transmission & axles, cooling systems, chassis repairs, and some welding.
- Perform regular and preventative maintenance including inspections, oil changes, attachment installation, etc.
- Utilize a computer or mobile device to perform diagnostic tests and maintain accurate records of repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness in the shop.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- You must possess a valid driver's license.
Education, Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
- 2-year associate degree from a technical school
- 2-3 years of related diesel technician experience.
- Engine overhaul experience
