Duties & Responsibilities Perform mobile diagnostics, troubleshooting, general and DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on fleet equipment and vehicles. Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, air, diesel, and related mechanical systems. Complete welding and fabrication work as needed to repair or upfit truck components. Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle while managing provided inventory and specialty tools. Complete service calls efficiently while following safety procedures, industry standards, and company protocols. Document service work, parts used, time spent, inspection results, and daily paperwork accurately.

Requirements Required:

Hands-on mobile service, diesel, heavy truck, heavy equipment, or similar repair experience. Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, air, diesel, vehicle, or equipment systems. Ability to work independently, manage service calls, communicate professionally, and complete daily paperwork. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Able to travel as needed, work across South Louisiana/Mississippi in various weather conditions, lift over 50 lbs, and perform physical repairs. Able to work in confined spaces high school diploma or equivalent required must complete pre-employment criminal background check, drug screening, and fitness for duty physical.

Preferred:

2+ years of DOT inspection experience. 2+ years of hydraulic, diesel, heavy equipment, or heavy truck mechanic experience. Technical certification, CDL, ASE, NATEF, Welding Certification, Fluid Power Society Certification, or TWIC Card. #SJ1

Compensation:

Shifts:
