Job Description
Diesel Mechanic $1,925 w/ OT>+ WEEKLY Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! Savard Personnel Group is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay, overtime opportunities, and long-term career growth.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on heavy-duty diesel-powered equipment.
Experience working on heavy-duty trucks, commercial fleet vehicles, heavy equipment, commercial marine diesel engines, or similar diesel-powered equipment is preferred.
Repair and maintain diesel engines, electrical systems, air brakes, steering, suspension, cooling, fuel, and hydraulic systems.
Perform scheduled inspections, accurately document repairs, and communicate maintenance needs.
Complete repairs safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Work independently and collaboratively to keep equipment operating safely and reliably.
Must provide your own mechanic hand tools.
CDL Class A or B is a plus but not required.
