The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for performing a wide range of electrical/mechanical diagnostics and repairs on a variety of trucks and autos, in shop and out of the shop.

Supreme Fleet Services is a locally owned, family-oriented company that provides a convenient, cost-effective, and comprehensive service for fleet managers and small business owners. We also have a shop for large trucks and autos. We service trucks and cars at client locations for their convenience. For larger repairs we complete the repairs at our shop.

JOB DUTIES

: Drive a mobile mechanic van to site of breakdown or begin work on assigned repair job at the shop. Efficiently and accurately perform a pre-inspection and diagnose mechanical problems. Always provide friendly, professional, and thorough communication with customers. Communicate with the service writer which parts are needed from inventory or for a parts order. Clearly communicate with the service writer when additional services are required by the customer. Perform repairs in a professional, thorough, timely manner. Document thoroughly and clearly the specifics of each completed job on the repair order. Perform all other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Five (5) years of experience working on trucks, equipment, and trailers. Maintenance and repair experience must include the following areas - diesel, gas, engine, transmission, air conditioning, electrical, air brakes, suspension, cooling, hydraulics and more. Demonstrate strong ability to troubleshoot. Ability to read and interpret written information and write clearly, accurately, and concisely. Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must possess your own tools •Candidates must pass a drug screen and other pre-employment job requirements•

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

More than ten (10) years of experience working on trucks, equipment, and trailers. Possess a CDL (commercial driver's license).

OTHER DETAILS

Pay rate: $25.00 to $42.00 / hour, depending on experience.

Full-time:

Monday - Friday; on-call rotation as needed Benefit package: Profit Sharing Bonus Plan and paid time off. Medical, Dental, and Vision will be provided in the near future.
