Entry-Level Diesel Mechanics - Earn up to $1160 WEEKLY DOE Savard is hiring Entry-Level Diesel Mechanics in Lafayette! We are looking for mechanically minded individuals who want to build their career working on medium- and heavy-duty trucks and diesel equipment. Key Requirements:

Experience in the medium/heavy-duty truck industry, OR graduation from a diesel technology programKnowledge of medium/heavy-duty truck mechanical and electrical systemsExperience diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining diesel trucks/equipmentExperience performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairsAbility to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, gauges, and precision instrumentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to read and understand work-related documentsComputer literate preferredClass B CDL with air brakes preferred, not requiredOwn mechanic tools preferred, not requiredAbility to work in a truck service shop environmentAbility to stand, bend, and squatAbility to lift 35 lbs. overheadMust be a team player with a strong commitment to customer serviceHigh school diploma/GED preferred, not required

Shifts:

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-5:00 PM1 hr lunch - unpaid
