Job Description

Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components of heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts replacement, suspension adjustments, and air brake system servicing Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately Fabricate or modify parts using power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and hand tools to meet specific repair needs Operate heavy machinery safely during repairs or testing procedures while adhering to all safety protocols Inspect vehicles and equipment for wear or damage; perform alignments and hydraulics system repairs as needed Assist with assembly or disassembly of large equipment components during repairs or upgrades Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background in heavy equipment mechanics is highly preferred Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and repair of transmissions and mechanical systems Skilled in working with schematics for electrical systems repair on trucks or industrial machinery Knowledge of heavy truck repair including air brake systems, HVAC systems on large vehicles, and tire service procedures Familiarity with fabrication techniques such as welding, cutting, soldering, and use of power tools for custom modifications or repairs Experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors-trailers, or farm machinery is advantageous Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills in troubleshooting complex issues Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship in fast-paced environments Customer service experience is a plus for interacting professionally with clients or team members Join us to leverage your expertise in diesel mechanics while enjoying opportunities for continuous learning and career advancement.
