Job Description

J. Masterson Construction, a site and utility company located in Danvers, MA is currently seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic. We value our employees and offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities Evaluate equipment for needed repairs. Troubleshoot and isolate mechanical problems; implement corrective actions as appropriate Must be able to diagnose and repair problems related to hydraulic components, steering systems, engines etc. •Performs repair or preventative maintenance on electrical, heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, skid steers, etc. Weld and/or fabricate necessary parts for repair of equipment is a plus Ensures proper and accurate documentation of all maintenance performed Ensures that all repair and maintenance work is performed in a safe, efficient, timely and cost-efficient manner Performs preventive maintenance inspections and ensures the timely and effective repair of any problems identified during an inspection Requirements 3+ years mechanic experience Experience with heavy duty trucks and construction equipment Must have own tools DOT Medical Card required MA Hoisting License (preferred) High school diploma or GED (preferred) Valid Driver's license with clean driving record (CDL preferred)
