Job Description

Steadily growing family owned trucking company is looking to ad the right diesel mechanic to our shop! We are looking for a motivated and self-sufficient mechanic to join our team maintaining and servicing our own fleet of class 8 trucks and trailers. Willing to train the right motivated candidate. Great pay ranging from $28 to $36 per hour based on experience and with the ability to work as much overtime as wanted. Benefits include PTO, Sick Time, Boot allowance, health insurance, DOT Medical Card reimbursement, and a company matched retirement plan. General shifts are M - F 8 am to 5 pm with rotational saturdays. We are a 24/7/365 operation therefore rotating on call is required.
Duties:
Service and maintain fleet of class 8 trucks and trailers Perform wide range of repairs Maintain shop cleanliness Work with parts department to maintain proper inventories Maintain accurate records of repairs to each piece of equipment Perform tire maintenance
Skills:
Diesel engines Mechanic experience Driving (CDL a plus but not required) Diagnostics PM Services Air Brake Systems (drum and disc) Chassis systems Electrical Tires Hydralic Systems
HVAC DOT
