Job Description

Heavy Diesel & Equipment Technician Needed South Hadley, MA 01075 Full-time Full-time We're looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team of shop and field service technicians. We are an authorized dealer of Hyundai Construction Equipment, Liebherr, Bell Trucks, Manitou, Eggersmann, iRock, and Bandit Equipment. We are also a full service, parts, and warranty repair center, specializing in forestry machinery, utility equipment, as well as light and heavy trucks. We are the area's leading authorized repair facility for Kubota, Perkins, Kohler, Isuzu, Deutz, Cummins, and Scania diesel engines. We supply a clean shop working environment, well-maintained service trucks, diagnostic software, and training. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Positive attitude required as is prior industry experience. Previous experience with aerials, hydraulics, forestry, and or construction equipment a plus.
Responsibilities Include:
Maintain and develop knowledge of Diesel engines, hydraulic systems, emissions tech, and other systems present in heavy equipment, aerials, and forestry machines Execute effective problem-solving skills including analysis of diagnostic data and software. Complete required training and certification programs Perform and complete repair schedules efficiently Possibly traveling and performing on site repairs as needed in a variety of conditions Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team communicating effectively with supervisors, team members, and customers.
