!! We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our small dump truck company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and equipment repair, with experience working on diesel engines, including those found in farm machinery and heavy equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet, and the successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and maintaining various types of diesel-powered vehicles. Duties Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on diesel engines and related systems. Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including trucks and farm machinery. Utilize power tools and equipment to execute repairs effectively. Work with components such as shocks, struts, and suspension systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used. Collaborate with other service technicians to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. Ensure compliance with safety standards while operating cranes and other heavy machinery during repairs. Stay updated on the latest diesel technology and repair techniques. Requirements Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic. Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment. Ability to perform equipment repair tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to diesel mechanics are a plus. Looking for a hardworking individual to grow with our small dump truck company. Education is a plus but not a requirement. Hours is 40+ a week depending on repairs.
