Diesel Mechanic

Our client is looking for a dependable Diesel Mechanic to join their team and help maintain and repair commercial trucks and trailers. Whether you're a recent graduate looking to start your career or an experienced diesel technician ready for your next opportunity, we encourage you to apply!

What You'll Do

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial trucks and trailers

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and air brake systems

Assist with roadside service as needed, based on training and experience

Accurately document work performed

Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

Continue developing your skills through hands-on training and experience

What We're Looking For

Diesel technology coursework or relevant diesel repair experience preferred

Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to use hand tools

Valid driver's license

Dependable work ethic and strong attention to detail

Willingness to learn and grow within the position

ASE certifications and CDL are a plus

Pay Range

Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills:

Apprentice:

$18

• 22/hour — Less than 2 years of experience
  Tech 1: $22
• 28/hour — At least 1 year of experience; typically 1-3 years
  Tech 2: $28
• 35/hour — At least 3 years of experience; typically 3-7 years
  Tech 3: $35
• 45/hour — At least 6 years of experience
