Job Description

Heavy Diesel Mechanic - This is an afternoon shift. Hours are from 11a - 930p
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment Align and assemble engine components to ensure proper functioning Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role Strong knowledge of diesel engines, power tools, and automotive diagnostics Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals for various equipment brands, such as Caterpillar Ability to operate heavy equipment for testing and maintenance purposes Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions
