We are hiring for Part Time Mobile Techs We are seeking a skilled Mobile Heavy-Duty Truck Technician Part-Time to perform preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, basic repairs, jump starts, fueling, welding, hydraulic repairs, electrical work, and other duties as assigned. As a Mobile Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services to our customers' diesel vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards Utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment Respond to after-hours service calls with a commission plan for completed service calls Diagnose and repair trucks and trailers, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed and provide time estimates for repairs Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Maintain and manage company-provided service truck, including parts and tools Work independently and maintain a high level of productivity Qualifications ASE certification preferred but not required Minimum of 2 years of diesel technician experience Customer-focused attitude State of Michigan HDT repair certified Willingness to stay up-to-date on industry training and equipment Possess your own hand tools Compensation Our Mobile Diesel Technicians earn between $30-$40 per hour , depending on experience. We also offer a commission plan for after-hours service calls.
