Diesel Mechanic

Diesel Mechanic - $27-$43+/hr (DOE) What you'll do: Perform preventative maintenance on Class 8 semi-trucks & trailers Handle light to moderate repairs (no heavy teardown) Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and air system issues Work on brakes, tires, lighting, sensors, and airlines Do minor engine work and trailer repairs (walking floors) Use a fully equipped mobile service truck (shop + field work) Keep accurate service records and ensure equipment is road-ready What you need: Diesel mechanic experience (entry-level to experienced) PMs, brakes, tires, and basic diagnostics experience Knowledge of electrical systems and air systems Ability to work independently in the field Valid driver's license Nice to have: Experience with Class 8 trucks and trailers Hydraulics/pneumatics knowledge Warranty repair coordination experience Why this job: Stable, family-owned company (no seasonal slowdowns) Modern fleet under warranty (less heavy repair work) Clean shop + fully equipped service truck Flexible 2nd shift (4x10s or 5x8s, starts around 11 PM) Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Blaine, MN.
