Diesel Mechanic - Class A Trucks

Job Summary American Logistics Services is hiring an experienced diesel mechanic to maintain our fleet of Freightliner and Kenworth Class A tractors, dry van trailers, and truck‑mounted forklifts. SCHEDULE

Full‑time Monday - Friday Day / Afternoon shift Occasional overtime available No rotating weekend schedules

EQUIPMENT YOU'LL WORK ON

Freightliner Cascadia tractors Kenworth Class A tractors Dry van trailers Truck‑mounted forklifts (Donkey forklifts)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose and repair trucks, trailers, and donkey forklifts Perform A & B preventative maintenance services Repair brake, electrical, and mechanical systems Complete DOT inspections and safety checks Document repairs and maintain service records

REQUIREMENTS

Experience on Class A trucks and trailers preferred Valid driver's license (CDL A preferred) Strong diagnostics and troubleshooting skills Ability to read repair manuals and technical documentation Own set of mechanic hand tools Dependable work ethic and commitment to safety Join the American Logistics Services team and help keep our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
