We offer competitive wages Paid holidays and paid vacation 401k As a Diesel Technician your responsibilities will include: Diagnose and perform repair work as outlined in repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with company and factory standards. Complete service calls in a timely manner as needed assuring exceptional customer service. Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts. Save and tag necessary warranty parts. Advise shop management immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the time period promised. Document all work performance. Road test vehicles when required to quality check work performed. Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean. Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership owned tools at all times. Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations governing the disposal of hazardous waste. Perform functions and duties of the job that may require additional or different tasks to be performed when circumstances change (i.e., emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, rush jobs or technology developments). Must have strong computer / programming skills for diagnostics tools Requirements (candidates must have): Must have an acceptable MVR with the ability to obtain a CDL. Strong customer service skills. Various shifts are available with shift pay options. As part of our recruitment process, we conduct assessment testing and post-offer full background checks, physical and drug screening.
Skills & Abilities:
Able to stand and be physically active most of the workday. Be able to lift up to 70 pounds. Able to work independently. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Excellent basic mechanical and problem-solving skills and awareness. Strong attention to detail. Able to use a computer. Able to read and comprehend instructions in English.
