Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of heavy construction equipment and diesel-powered machinery—both in our shop and in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and diesel systems. Perform preventative maintenance on heavy construction equipment. Use diagnostic tools and interpret schematics to evaluate and fix complex equipment issues. Maintain accurate service documentation and records. Follow safety protocols and promote a culture of workplace safety. Keep a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members and communicate clearly with supervisors.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. Vocational training or certification in Diesel Technology preferred. 2+ years of experience servicing heavy construction equipment. Proficiency with high-pressure common rail fuel systems, exhaust after-treatment systems, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Must provide your own tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing on and off equipment.

$25 - $32 per hour, depending on experience
