Job Description
Diesel Service Technician Our client is seeking a skilled Diesel Service Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and thrives in a team-oriented, customer-focused environment. The ideal candidate values consistency, craftsmanship, and the opportunity to build a long-term career within a reputable organization. This role is on-site in Springfield, Missouri. Diesel Service Technician Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy-duty diesel trucks in accordance with manufacturer and company standards. Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using diagnostic tools and hands-on troubleshooting. Complete work orders efficiently while maintaining high standards for quality and safety. Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure timely and effective customer solutions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including proper care of tools and equipment. Diesel Service Technician Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a heavy-duty truck or dealership environment. Experience with diesel engines such as Cummins or Detroit Diesel strongly preferred. Relevant certifications (ASE or manufacturer-specific) highly preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in a shop setting. High school diploma or equivalent required; CDL and flat-rate/commission experience are a plus.
