What You'll Be Doing Commercial Fleet Maintenance:
Perform routine preventive maintenance, oil changes, brake inspections, and tune-ups on our commercial fleet of diesel trucks.
Master Troubleshooter:
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, air brakes, electrical systems, suspensions, transmissions, and emission control systems.
Preventative Safety:
Conduct safety inspections to identify potential mechanical issues before they turn into road delays or safety hazards.
Shop & System Operations:
Utilize diagnostic software, maintain clean work areas, document work orders accurately, manage parts inventory, and follow lock-out/tag-out safety protocols.
Continuous Improvement:
Work alongside a skilled team to solve tough mechanical puzzles, keep shop efficiency high, and assist with training new shop team members.
What We're Looking For Credentials:
High School Diploma or GED (vocational/technical diploma in diesel technology is a major plus!).
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and commercial fleet/truck maintenance.
Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics, air brakes, electrical systems, and computer literacy to use shop software systems. Tools of the
Trade:
Ownership of basic mechanic hand tools (specialty tools provided in-shop).
Physical Capability:
Ability to frequently lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs and work actively in a bustling repair shop environment.
CDL Advantage:
