Field Service Technician (Experienced Diesel / Hydraulic Mechanic)International Construction Equipment (ICE®) International Construction Equipment (ICE®) is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic and diesel pile-driving equipment. This role is best suited for an experienced mechanic who can independently troubleshoot engine and hydraulic systems while providing excellent service to our customers.

The technician will work both in the shop and in the field to efficiently solve equipment issues while following all company safety and operational procedures. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and pile-driving equipment Perform equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and field service repairs Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics to troubleshoot mechanical issues Document service work, repairs, and parts used Maintain accurate service paperwork and inventory records Load and unload equipment as needed Follow all safety procedures Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Arrive on time to job sites and maintain accountability for assigned work Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics Welding experience including stick and MIG welding Experience using oxy-acetylene cutting torch High School Diploma or GED Valid driver's license Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification) Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain service documentation Motivated team player with a strong work ethic Work Environment Work may occur in shop, warehouse, and field environments Moderate exposure to noise, heat, and heavy equipment Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change Schedule & Travel Full-time position Flexible hours and overtime may be required Occasional overnight travel may be necessary based on customer needs Physical Requirements Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Must be able to lift: Up to 25 lbs regularly Up to 50 lbs frequently 100+ lbs occasionally International Construction Equipment is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, veteran status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, marital status or disability (in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act) with respect to employment opportunities.
