Shop Base Diesel Truck Technician

Brown Fleet Services is a full-service shop in Raleigh, NC looking to hire a Shop base Diesel Mechanic.

• Mechanic position is responsible for diagnosing and repairing medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers under minimal supervision. Repairs will include Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs, air and hydraulic brake repairs, warranty procedures, driveline, steering & suspension, electrical trouble-shooting, AC and other duties as assigned.
• Equipment is primarily Class 8 tractors and 53x102 dry van trailers
• 21 years of age or older, must be able to read codes and instructions on the computer and be able to document repairs on the computer
• Must possess a valid driver's license, prefer a Commercial Driver's License or ability to obtain one
• 5 years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including: PM's, air & hydraulic brakes, diagnosis, computerized diagnostics, electrical
• Must possess at minimum a set of hand tools up to 3/4"

• up to $36/hr depending upon experience / qualifications
