Job Description
Diesel Mechanic•Apex Transit We're hiring an experienced diesel mechanic for steady, year-round work. If you can diagnose and fix trucks without guessing, we want to talk. What you'll be doing: Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks Work on air brake systems, engines, and component replacements Use diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues properly Keep equipment safe and FMCSA compliant What we need: Minimum 2 years heavy-duty truck experience Strong diagnostic ability (not just parts swapping) Air brake experience required (ASE T4 is a plus) Attention to detail and safety Able to handle physical work (lifting, standing, tight spaces) Own tools + reliable transportation What we offer: Competitive pay•based on experience Weekly pay Steady hours Overtime available High-tech, well-equipped shop Top-of-the-line shop tools provided Large, clean, well-lit workspace Newer, organized shop•not chaos Uniforms provided Real opportunity to grow Room to advance your skills (diagnostics, systems, certifications)
