Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and maintenance. This role is crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, providing exceptional service to our customers while maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines to identify issues and determine necessary repairs. Conduct routine maintenance on diesel vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations. Assemble and align various components of diesel engines and related equipment. Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Troubleshoot electrical systems in diesel vehicles to ensure proper functionality. Operate forklifts and cranes safely when moving heavy equipment or parts during repairs. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs. Experience Proven experience in automotive repair, specifically with diesel engines. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Familiarity with equipment repair techniques and safety protocols. Experience operating forklifts and cranes is preferred but not mandatory. Customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their concerns.
